Setup Instructionsfor Internet Access

In order to better serve our customers Jefferson Energy Internet Services will be making changes to our dial-up internet service effective March 6, 2008. Please look for additional information in the coming week that will outline more of these changes.

Dialer Setup Instructions:
Change Settings XP
Step 1:
If you have the dialer Icon on your desktop then double-click the Icon. You should see fig 1.

Step 2:
Now add your entire email address into the space called User name. You should see fig 2.

Establishing New Dialer XP
Step 1:
If you are not familiar with the manual setup processes for this feature please call you ISP
technical support rep, they will walk you through the setup processes.

Modem Access Phone Numbers:
If you have misplaced the correct dial-up access number to dial for Internet Access. Please contact our customer service dept. at 1-(877) JEFFERSON


*Please note, there have been rare instances where this change causes you not to be able to
connect before the dial-up access change. In most cases this change can be done now. If for any
reason you are not able to dial in with the above change all you need to do is remove the change
(@jeffersonenergy.com) and you should be able to dial in with no problems. After the dial-up
access change that will go into effect March 6, 2008, you must have the @jeffersonenergy.com
added to your user name in order to connect to the internet. Your password has not been
changed.
