Now we have expanded our services by offering our new home security Lease to own program. This program will give our members an opportunity to take advantage of the many benefits provided by owning a home security system without having to pay a large sum of money up front!

Under the lease program, a customer would be allowed to pay a set amount over a two year period. To cover the cost of the equipment and monthly monitoring fee. Upon completion of the two year lease, the customer retains complete ownership of all equipment covered in the plan. The monitoring fee will then be provided at a reduced rate.

The Equipment covered under this agreement consists of:

• ITI Simon Control Panel with Battery Backup
• Passive Infrared Motion Detector
• Saw Door & Window Sensors
• Yard Signs & Decals

Protection Plus

Protect your valuable electronics and appliances against lightning and power surges forever! Never worry about lightning again. With Jefferson Energy's Protection Plus your valuable electronics are protected against damage due to lightning or power surges for life.

Protection Plus devices are designed to keep lightning from ever reaching your Computer, TV, or whatever electronic devices are plugged in. If they don't, no worry! Your electronics will be replaced or repaired FREE!* You can't loose!

* Warranty Coverage
If a surge should pass through and cause consequential damage to the equipment connected to it, company will pay up to $5,000 per device per occurrence for repair or replacement with a $2,000,000.00 limit total per location.

Internet Services

Jefferson Energy wants to be YOUR connection to the Internet! The latest state-of-the-art equipment has been purchased in order to make this connection. As a non-profit organization, the cooperative can offer Internet access, as well as other services, at very attractive prices. A local access telephone number is available to 90% of the co-op's customers.

Jefferson Energy Cooperative offers both dial-up and high-speed Internet service options to its customers. A local access telephone number is available to 90% of the co-op’s customers who wish to subscribe to dial-up Internet service. WildBlue high-speed satellite Internet service is available to all customers who reside within Jefferson Energy Cooperative’s service territory. Technical support is provided 24-hours-a-day, along with easy to use software, personal E-Mail addresses, and full and direct Internet connections unlike some of the larger Internet service providers.

This benefit is offered in conjunction with a service provider who has access numbers throughout the United States. A FREE copy of the software will be sent to Jefferson Energy customers following payment of the initial set-up fee of $24.95, which includes service for one month and can be placed on monthly electric bills. Customers will be billed $19.95 per month and non-Jefferson Energy customers will be billed $21.95 per month for the Internet Service.

Water Heater Rebate Program

Jefferson Energy Cooperative will pay a rebate in the amount of $200 for the installation of an electric water heater under the conditions listed below:

Gas-to-Electric Conversion if a JEC member replaces an existing gas water heater with an electric water heater, he/she will qualify for the rebate. The member must provide proof of purchase for the new electric water heater as well as provide proof that a gas water heater was replaced. An inspection by a JEC representative will be made before the rebate is paid. The member must obtain the new water heater from a source other than Jefferson Energy.

Heat Pump Rebate Programs

Gas-to-Electric Conversions: JEC will pay a rebate for all gas to electric heat pump conversion regardless of the gas source previously used for heating. The amount of the rebate is based on the size (tonnage) of the electric heat pump installed:

• $325 for all 2 & 2.5 ton units
• $425 for all 3 & 3.5 ton units
• $525 for all 4 & 5 ton units
