Jefferson Energy Directors Complete Training

Wrens, Ga. - Tim Garrett and Eugene Tanzymore, members of the Board of Directors of Jefferson Energy Cooperative, have completed National Rural Electric Cooperative training programs and have been recognized for their commitment to learning. Mr. Garrett recently completed the Credentialed Cooperative Director program and Mr. Tanzymore completed the Board Leadership Credentials.
Today’s electric utility environment imposes new demands on electric cooperative directors, particularly increased knowledge of changes in the electric utility business, new governances skills and a working knowledge of cooperative principles. We commend both these gentlemen on their dedication and commitment to both Jefferson Energy Cooperative and its membership.
