Be prepared to give the name in which the account is listed and the map location number if possible. This information is shown on every electric bill. We suggest posting this information near a phone in your home.
Jefferson Energy offers the following billing programs to suit members’ needs:
Levelized Billing – provides the member the ability to budget spending by providing a bill that is close to the same amount every month. This is accomplished by taking the average of the current month and proceeding 11 months bills.
Invoice Billing – provides members with multiple accounts the ability to have a single billing statement for what would normally be billed on several individual bills.
Jefferson Energy takes the following methods of payment for our members’ convenience:
Automatic Bank Draft – this payment method allows the member the convenience of never having to worry about when to pay their bill again because the payment is automatically debited from the member’s bank account.
Online Bill Payment – this payment method allows members the convenience of paying their bill 24 hours a day, 7 days a week from anywhere that has an available Internet connection through Jefferson Energy’s HYPERLINK "https://onlinebilling.jeffersonenergy.com/sedc" \o "https://onlinebilling.jeffersonenergy.com/sedc" online payment site using Visa and MasterCard. Payments using this method are credited to the member’s account immediately upon completion of the transaction.
Interactive Voice Response – this payment method allows members the convenience of paying their bill 24 hours a day, 7 days a week from anywhere that phone service is available by Visa or MasterCard. Payments using this method are credited to the member’s account immediately upon completion of the transaction.
Payments through your bank – this payment method allows members the convenience of paying through their personal banking institution. It should be noted, however, that this payment method is not immediately credited to the member’s account due to the time it takes for these transactions to process through the Federal Reserve.
